Busan Metropolitan City to Recruit 194 Employees at 17 Public Institutions in the Second Half of This Year, Application Starts on the 19th

Busan Metropolitan City (Mayor Park Heong-joon) announced that it will begin accepting applications for the “2025 Second Half Integrated Written Examination for Public Institution Recruitment” on September 19.

In the second half of this year, a total of 194 employees will be recruited at 17 institutions, including Busan Transportation Corporation and Busan Metropolitan Corporation.

The number of recruits by institution is as follows: 37 at Busan Transportation Corporation, 7 at Busan Metropolitan Corporation, 5 at Busan Tourism Organization, 57 at Busan Infrastructure Corporation, 33 at Busan Environmental Corporation, 1 at Busan Institute, 6 at Busan Credit Guarantee Foundation, 4 at Busan Economic Promotion Agency, 3 at Busan Women, Family, and Lifelong Education Promotion Agency, 3 at Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency, 6 at Busan Global City Foundation, 3 at Busan Social Services Foundation, 7 at Design Council Busan, 3 at Busan Cinema Center, 8 at Busan Institute of Science and Technology Promotion (BISTEP), 7 at Busan Cultural Center, and 4 at Busan Startup Investment Agency.

Applications will be accepted only online from 10:00 a.m. on September 19 until 5:00 p.m. on September 25 through the Integrated Public Institution Recruitment website (busan.saramin.co.kr). Applicants may apply to only one institution and cannot apply to multiple institutions or submit duplicate applications to the same institution.

Details regarding the recruitment categories by institution, examination subjects, and other specifics will be available from 2:00 p.m. today (September 5) on the Integrated Public Institution Recruitment website or on the websites of each recruiting institution.

The written examination will be conducted on October 25, with the examination venue to be announced separately via the Integrated Public Institution Recruitment website. Successful candidates of the written examination will be announced at 2:00 p.m. on November 5 via the same website.

Successful candidates of the written examination will undergo a personality assessment, followed by a document review and interview process by each institution.

Since 2021, the City has implemented the Integrated Written Examination for Public Institution Recruitment to enhance transparency and fairness in the recruitment process.

In the first half of this year, on May 17, 17 institutions recruited 320 employees, with 8,856 applicants competing, resulting in a competition rate of 27.7 to 1.
