With Busan Innovation City, Once Again!… “2025 Second Half Joint Recruitment Briefing Session for Regional Talents and Public Institutions” to be Held

Busan Metropolitan City (Mayor Park Heong-joon) announced that it will hold the “2025 Second Half Joint Recruitment Briefing Session for Regional Talents and Public Institutions” (hereinafter referred to as the “Briefing Session”) at 2:00 p.m. tomorrow (26th) in the City Hall Auditorium, in cooperation with Busan Innovation City.

To provide tailored recruitment information for local talents, 10 relocated public institutions in Busan Innovation City and 1 municipal public institution, Busan Transportation Corporation, will present their recruitment plans, with a total of 11 institutions participating.

This second-half Briefing Session will be hosted by the City and organized by the Busan Economic Promotion Agency.

In particular, this year the City has prepared this additional second-half Briefing Session following the one held in April, in order to provide more recruitment information and opportunities to job seekers preparing for employment in Busan-based public institutions.

The Briefing Session will feature ▲“Recruitment Guideline Presentation” by HR managers of the Korea Housing Finance Corporation and the Korea Housing & Urban Guarantee Corporation ▲“2025 Public Institution Recruitment Strategy Special Lecture” by public enterprise employment expert Park Young-dae.

In addition, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., the Auditorium and lobby of City Hall will host various support services for job seekers, including ▲Recruitment consultation booths for each institution ▲Youth policy promotion booth ▲AI job support and “Job Tarot” event booth.

At the “Recruitment Consultation Booths,” staff responsible for recruitment from each of the 11 participating institutions will provide one-on-one customized consultations with job seekers.

At the “Youth Policy Promotion Booth,” the Youth Doodream Center will introduce the local talent recruitment system and youth policy system to local university students, while providing career and employment guidance.

At the “AI Job Support and Job Tarot Event Booth,” participants can enhance their practical skills through AI-based mock interviews and National Competency Standards (NCS) practice, as well as receive advice on employment preparation through job tarot.

Regarding regular employment, the institutions scheduled to recruit in the second half of this year include the Korea Housing Finance Corporation, Korea Southern Power Co., Ltd., Korea Securities Depository, and Korea Maritime Institute.

Prior to the Briefing Session, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. tomorrow (26th), a “Public Institution Mock Interview Contest” will be held in the City Hall Auditorium. Those wishing to observe the mock interviews may do so without separate application.

A total of 30 pre-registered participants will undergo competency and personality interviews conducted by professional public institution interviewers, who will score the participants and present awards to outstanding individuals.

Meanwhile, the City, together with the Busan Economic Promotion Agency, is operating the “Innovation City Regional Talent Employment Support Project.” This year, the project includes the ▲Second Half Joint Recruitment Briefing Session ▲National Competency Standards (NCS) Mock Test Special Lecture ▲Self-Introduction Essay Special Lecture ▲Mock Interview Contest, newly added to its programs.
