Domoheon Surpasses 500,000 Guests in 19 Months and Spotlights Family Month Offerings and Jazz Concerts□ Domoheon recorded a cumulative total of 500,000 visitors on April 22, 2026, just one year and seven months after opening.○ Formerly the mayoral residence—once perceived as an authoritative site—it has been transformed into a multi-purpose complex. Since its unveiling to the public in September 2024 for the first time in 40 years, it has steadily attracted attention by means of a wide range of dynamic initiatives, such as Domoheon Busan School and carefully selected presentations.□ Embracing its founding concept, ‘Walk, Stay, and Remember,’ Domoheon integrates exhibits, lectures, performances, hands-on activities, and rest areas.□ To commemorate hitting 500,000 visitors and mark Family Month in May, a variety of events are slated for May 2–3.○ Participation is free of charge for everyone; some require registration via the website or in person.□ The lineup consists of: ▲ the children’s play ‘Peter Pan,’ ▲ magic shows, fusion traditional Korean music and Family Month concerts, ▲ the ‘Large Canvas Wall’ performance, ▲ interactive booths, ▲ Sosopung Garden programs, and ▲ photo zones—all designed for family enjoyment.○ On May 2 and 3 at 14:00 and 16:00, visitors can navigate Domoheon, meet actors, and take pictures at pop-up booths depicting key scenes from J.M. Barrie’s ‘Peter Pan’ (photo zones).
