The Busan Metropolitan City (Mayor Park Heong-joon) announced the unveiling of the outdoor programs for the “2025 Busan Food Film Festa,” a unique festival that blends cinema and gastronomy.

The festival will be held from June 13 to 15 around the Busan Cinema Center. It will color early summer in Busan with food and film, providing a rich sensory experience through diverse outdoor programs themed around noodles.

Notably, the signature programs “Food Terrace” and “Juju Club,” which opened for reservation via the Busan Cinema Center website on May 28, sold out immediately, proving their immense popularity.

This year’s outdoor festivities will feature a variety of engaging experiences, including hands-on programs, live performances, and collaborative events with local businesses.

• ●Hands-On Programs:
  Participants will be able to enjoy food, performances, and films freely in the outdoor space. Highlighted zones include:

  Particularly, the themed zone will spotlight unique noodle dishes by local culinary brands in different time slots, offering rich and varied food content.

• ○Potluck Table: a picnic-style food sharing space

• ○Themed Zone: changing annually, this year’s theme is noodles

• ○Food Zone: featuring a wide range of dining brands

• ○Flea Market Zone: operated by small local businesses

• ○Food Therapy Zone: popular with kids, who can make their own vegetable pizza

• ●Live Performance Programs:
  Festivalgoers will enjoy vibrant performances including:

• ○Serenade, a musical performance team with music loved by all ages

• ○Oh Jang-wook, a thrilling juggling act

• ○The Dreaming Chef, combining music and culinary art on stage

• ●Collaboration with Local Businesses – “Subi-BEXCO Win-Win Market”:
  The city has partnered with the Subi-BEXCO Merchants Association to operate a win-win market linked with the Subi-BEXCO commercial district. The market includes coupon events, food tastings, prize draws, and more.
  This collaboration serves as a model for increasing brand awareness and real customer traffic by linking major cultural events with local businesses, and is expected to contribute to revitalizing local commercial areas.

• ●Pop-up Store & Special Promotion – “Campnic with Soonsu 365”:
  In collaboration with the Busan Waterworks Headquarters, the festival will also feature a promotional pop-up store for “Soonsu 365” (Busan’s clean tap water).
  Visitors can enjoy camping-style experiences along with events like water tasting zones, camping food corners, and giveaways featuring the “One Drop” mascot. These activities aim to raise awareness of water conservation and everyday uses.

The outdoor programs of the 2025 Busan Food Film Festa are free of charge. However, some programs such as Food Salon and film screenings require paid reservations through the Busan Cinema Center website.
