8th PIFF will be held on the 2nd to 10th of October, prepares more abundant and various program ever at PIFF. In this year’s PIFF will present 244 films from 60 different countries, there are 47 films from Korea, 98 films from Asia, 99 films from World. Including Korea, 15 Asian countries and 44 diverse countries around the world will participate this year.

Among these, 30 films of World Premiere, 13 films of International Premiere and 88 films of Asia Premiere will meet for the first time with Busan’s audiences Official sections of this year’s PIFF are 9 sections in total, ‘Korean Film Retrospective’ and ‘Critics’ Week’ which was included World Cinema changed its title to ‘Critics’ Choice’; therefore two more sections added this year’s edition.
