The May is the month for promoting a happy family. There is Children's Day on the 5th and Parents' Day on the 8th.
There are lots of cultural events for citizens to share their love and radiate youth and while expanding children's minds to their fullest limits.

--- From the 3rd to the 5th, some events related to children will be held in the Grand Children's Park. In Art Place, there is a wealth of programs that children can experience such as, Face-Painting, Paper dyeing and so on. (Instructions for Paper Dyeing) After folding Chinese Drawing Paper, Korean Paper and other Papers put these into the dyestuff. You can then make shape the paper. Paper Dyeing is easily one of our most popular experiences. It is always interesting for children to make the shape of their hand as a clay mold casting. --- Democracy Park will hold feast style events that will allow children to experience our cherished cultural folk-ways play. From 10 AM to 4 AM on the 5th, Juvenile Drama will be shown and children can make Magic Balloons and play Ocarina. Children can also play Shuttlecock, Drive along a hoop, see traditional clothes and experience many ethnic customs plays.
