Busan and Los Angeles in sister port agreement

Officials from the Ports of Busan and Los Angeles in the have signed a sister port agreement.

Busan Port has seven sister ports including Los Angeles : Shanghai Port, Rotterdam Port, New York/New Jersey Port, Osaka Port, Seattle Port, and South Hampton Port.

Boo Won, Kang, director of marketing team from Busan Port Authority said that sister port relationships strengthen the economic and commercial bond between the respective countries and allow sharing components of environmental program and policies regarding air quality, water quality and wildlife habitats to better both harbours and added that both ports will vitalize human resource exchange by deploying respective employees to the each port.
