Two couples among some visiting delegates from Bungo-ono City in Oita Prefecture, which has sisterhood ties with Jangan-eup, plan to wear ‘samogwandae’ (the traditional wedding outfit of the groom) and ‘wonsam’ (the bride's wedding costume), and then act out the roles of bride and groom at the wedding ceremony. In addition, various other aspects of traditional Korean culture, such as natural dyeing, Kimchi-making and rice cake throwing will be shown to visitors.
Furthermore, the school hopes to hear from couples who didn't have a chance to experience a fully fledged ceremony when they got married, and from multi-cultural families, to make a wedding ceremony for them from next year.
