6th Global Esports Executive Summit to be Held in Busan from August 31 to September 1, 2021

The City of Busan, IeSF, the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency and Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will jointly host the 6th Global Esports Executive Summit (GEES) at the Busan e-Sports Arena from August 31 to September 1, 2021.
Since 2016, GEES has been a platform to share ideas, create synergies, and most of all, to reach mutual consensus regarding the development of Esports. The GEES will take place in Busan for the fifth consecutive year since 2017.
Under the theme “Evolving and Adapting”, the summit consists of opening speeches, discussions and Esports awards and will take place both online and offline (Busan Esports Arena).
Keynote speeches will be made during the five sessions - the next level of Esports, fostering growing relationships, diversity and inclusion in Esports, integrating Esports into education and understanding the Esports landscape. The overseas speakers will present their speeches via online video.
To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the summit will be broadcast live online through the YouTube Channel of the Busan Esports Arena in Korean. The summit will be available online in English at gees.iesf.org after registering.
