Busan City and the Busan Foundation of International Cooperation (BFIC) will distribute a ‘Mayor’s Welcome Letter’ and a “Life in Busan” guidebook to newly-registered aliens to help them adjust to Korea, starting February 16th.

The guidebook aims to enhance the friendly image of Busan and help foreigners adjust to their new environment in concurrence with the Busan Immigration Office.

The Mayor’s Welcome Letter will be provided in 6 languages — English, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Indonesian and Russian.

“Life in Busan”, in 7 languages, will provide tips for foreigners, along with essential information for living and traveling in Busan.

These publications will be offered along with counseling services at the Busan Immigration Service Center (Jungang-dong) by its call center agents, who speak Korean, English, Chinese, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Russian, and Uzbek.
