Busan City has dispatched a city delegation led by the Deputy Mayor for Political Affairs, Jeong Lak-hyeong, to the 21st TAFISA World Congress, which is taking place in Taipei from September 3.

At the opening ceremony, the Deputy Mayor will receive the *TAFISA Jürgen Palm Award 2009 on behalf of Busan Mayor, Hur Nam-sik to honor the city’s significant contribution to the field of International Sport for All and Physical Activity(SAPA) by successfully hosting the 4th Busan TAFISA World Sport for All Games in 2008, which were the biggest TAFISA Games ever. About 2,500 athletes from 101 countries, as well as 30 IOC members and 600 international sports personalities participated at the event.
