The Ministry of Health and Welfare announced it has selected 13 non-prescription drugs to
be sold at retailers and convenience stores which operate 24 hours a day, all year round, from November 15, 2012.

Ever since the separation of the prescription and dispensing of drugs, pharmacies have been operating the same operating hours as clinics and hospitals. Therefore, citizens have faced difficulties purchasing over-the-counter (OTC) drugs at night and on weekends/holidays. The sale of 'OTC' drugs at convenience stores aims to solve this problem.

Caution:
Do not take any antipyretic analgesic and cold medicines after drinking alcohol.
To prevent the side effects of the medicine, you should take it exactly as directed.
Children under the age of 12 are not allowed to buy 'OTC' drugs.
Purchase of OTC drugs is limited.
Please contact the Korea Institute Drug Safety & Risk Management at 1644-6223 to report any side effects of the medicine.
