Hong Kong Dragon Airlines (Dragonair), an affiliate of Cathay Pacific Airways, said Monday it will launch a service between Busan and Hong Kong starting from Jan. 19. The carrier will employ the Airbus A320 for the route and operate three flights a week. Dragonair CEO Kenny Tang said the popularity of Korea’s second largest city has been growing as a tourist attraction and logistics hub, so the new service will benefit ordinary tourists as well as business travelers. Hong Kong-headquartered Dragonair was taken over by Cathay Pacific in September and operates services to 31 Asia-Pacific cities including 23 in China.
