A museum at Pukyong National University in Busan Thursday (Jan. 31) displays the skeleton of a dinosaur that lived on the Korean Peninsula 130 million years ago. The project to restore the fossils was a first for Korea and took eight years of work.

Named “Pukyongosaurus millenniumi” after the university, the herbivorous dinosaur was 15 meters long and 9.5 meters tall. The skeleton was discovered on a rocky island in Hadong-gun (county), Gyeongsangnam-do (province) in December 1998.
