To help you make the most of the prematurely warm weather, an exciting ocean experience is just a phone call away as several kayak centers opened on May 2.

If you want to hone your paddling skills or learn for the first time, make a reservation online.

The exhilarating water sport will not disappoint in these four places - Samnak Maritime Leisure Town in Sasang-gu, Songdo Beach in Seo-gu, Gwangalli Beach and Suyeong River in Suyeong-gu.

Also, kayaking programs are offered through September 30 as the Busan Regional Oceans & Fisheries Administration has teamed up with the Sea Explorers of Korea to offer such an opportunity.

The program aims to popularize the sport so that citizens can try it out for themselves.

In fact, kayaking is catching on significantly among outdoor enthusiasts. A whopping 17,000 people learned to kayak last year at the designated areas.
