Busan Metropolitan City to Host Lotte Mart Zeta Smart Center Delivery Driver Recruitment Information Session

Busan Metropolitan City, led by Mayor Chun Jae-soo, announced that it will jointly host the Lotte Mart Zeta Smart Center Delivery Driver Recruitment Information Session with the Busan Economic Promotion Agency at 2:00 p.m. on August 11 in the fifth-floor conference room of the Busan Employment Welfare Plus Center in Busanjin-gu.

The Lotte Mart Zeta Smart Center Delivery Driver Recruitment Information Session is part of a recruitment support service for employers operated by the Busan Job Center. The event has been organized to support the recruitment of approximately 500 full-time delivery drivers by delivery contractors serving the Lotte Mart Zeta Smart Center in Gangseo-gu, which opened this month.

This will be the second session, following the first session held in May. Busan Metropolitan City supported the recruitment of 61 delivery drivers through the first session.

The recruitment information session is open to anyone with experience in the retail and logistics sector, including former Homeplus employees, as well as job seekers interested in employment in these fields. Participating employers will provide job descriptions and conduct on-site interviews.

The Busan Job Center also provides recruitment support services to companies seeking to hire large numbers of employees.

The center supports preliminary procedures to facilitate effective matching between employers and job seekers, including assistance with organizing recruitment information sessions, recruiting job seekers in relevant fields, and screening application documents when necessary.

Kim Ki-hwan, Assistant Mayor of Digital Economy Office, said, “This recruitment information session will provide a forum for exchanging information and facilitate effective job matching between local employers and job seekers. We encourage strong participation from job seekers with experience or an interest in relevant fields, including former Homeplus employees.”
