The Heat That Opened the Road to Tomorrow… “2026 Busan Mobility Show” Concludes with Great Success

Busan Metropolitan City, led by Mayor Chun Jae-soo, announced that the “2026 Busan Mobility Show,” held under the theme “Opening the Road to Tomorrow,” successfully concluded its 10-day exhibition on July 5.

The “2026 Busan Mobility Show” was recognized for presenting a vision of the future mobility ecosystem by offering not only world premieres of new vehicles from leading global automakers but also a wide range of exhibitions and hands-on experiences featuring mobility solutions across land, sea, and air.

This year, the event moved beyond conventional static displays to create a dynamic, immersive environment where visitors could actively experience the future mobility ecosystem firsthand.

Eight major automobile manufacturers—Hyundai Motor, Kia, Genesis, BMW, MINI, BYD, INEOS Grenadier, and Ram—participated in the exhibition, unveiling cutting-edge next-generation vehicles through world and Asia premieres. Visitors enjoyed interactive brand experiences, including getting inside the vehicles and taking commemorative photographs. Newly participating automotive brands at the Busan Mobility Show also attracted significant public attention.

The exhibition extended well beyond automobiles by showcasing a diverse range of future transportation solutions, including Urban Air Mobility (UAM), electric aircraft, yachts, sports and leisure mobility, and large recreational vehicles. Visitors were able to experience these next-generation modes of transportation through hands-on programs, while various experiential activities at participating booths proved especially popular with families.

Concurrent events also drew strong interest from visitors. The Korea Camping Car Show introduced a wide variety of environmentally friendly leisure mobility products, including next-generation electric camping vehicles and the latest motorhomes. The Robot Expo showcased advanced robotic technologies, including humanoid robots. Meanwhile, AutoManufac and Big Tech Show presented future technologies driving innovation in manufacturing and logistics, including smart factory solutions, industrial and logistics automation systems, autonomous forklifts, and drones.

One of the event's most significant achievements was expanding the concept of mobility beyond the exhibition halls and into the city itself.

In addition to the main exhibition at BEXCO, special urban exhibition venues were introduced for the first time at Domoheon and Haeundae Gunam-ro, providing accessible spaces where citizens could experience mobility culture as part of their daily lives.

By combining future mobility with coastal and urban settings, these special exhibitions offered residents and visitors unique attractions, opportunities for relaxation, and memorable experiences that blended innovative mobility with the enjoyment of a seaside vacation.

The city, police, and fire authorities also maintained a close cooperative safety management system throughout the event. Thanks to these coordinated efforts, the entire exhibition concluded without a single safety incident.
