Launching Toward the Future: “2026 Busan Mobility Show” to Open

Busan Metropolitan City, together with BEXCO, the Korea Automobile & Mobility Association, and the Korea Auto Industries Cooperative Association, announced that the 2026 Busan Mobility Show (BIMOS 2026) will be held at BEXCO in Haeundae from June 26 to July 5.

Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, the event will be held under the slogan “Moving Tomorrow” and will showcase the transformation and innovation of related industries, ranging from eco-friendly automobiles to advanced future mobility technologies.

The event will take place at Exhibition Halls 1 and 2 of BEXCO, as well as special exhibition venues across the city, including Gunam-ro in Haeundae-gu and Domoheon in Suyeong-gu. Following the media preview day on June 26, the exhibition will be open to the general public from June 27 through July 5. On weekends, operating hours will be extended by one hour until 6:00 p.m. for visitor convenience.

More than a conventional automobile exhibition, the event will be operated as a future convergence mobility festival that offers a comprehensive view of the mobility industry.

In particular, this year’s show will feature not only global automotive manufacturers but also a wide range of mobility companies spanning land, sea, and air transportation, presenting new possibilities and future directions for mobility.

At Domoheon in Suyeong-gu, visitors will be able to view historic vehicles, including Korea’s first automobile and the country’s oldest fire engine, alongside art exhibits. Special city-center exhibitions will also be expanded at Gunam-ro in Haeundae, featuring camping vehicles, recreational vehicles (RVs), and customized vehicles, offering a variety of attractions linked with local tourism and cultural resources.

In addition, the Korea Camping Car Show will be held during the first week for consumers interested in camping and car camping, while Auto Manufac, Robot Expo, and Big Tech Show will take place during the second week. These concurrent events will provide opportunities to explore convergence technology trends across advanced industries, including automotive electronics components, batteries, and robotics.

Participation by domestic and international automotive brands and global mobility companies will also be expanded.

Major domestic automotive brands, including Hyundai Motor Company, Kia, and Genesis, will participate, along with BMW and MINI. First-time participants will include global electric vehicle brand BYD, British off-road vehicle manufacturer INEOS Grenadier, and American pickup truck brand RAM, each showcasing a diverse range of vehicles and technologies.

Visitor services will also be enhanced. Those who purchase tickets in advance through the official website (https://bimos.co.kr) by mid-June can receive discounts of up to 20 percent. In addition, a mobile QR code-based admission system will be fully introduced to reduce congestion at the venue.
