Busan Metropolitan City to Hold the “2026 Tax Administration Briefing for Business Support”

Busan Metropolitan City, led by Mayor Park Heong-joon, announced that it will hold the “2026 Tax Administration Briefing for Business Support” on June 17 at 2:00 p.m. in the International Conference Hall on the second floor of the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The briefing is jointly organized by Busan Metropolitan City, the Busan Regional Tax Office, the Busan Economic Promotion Agency, and the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Approximately 100 participants, including SME representatives and employees from the Busan area, are expected to attend.

The event has been arranged to provide meaningful support to local businesses by offering guidance not only on tax-related matters, including local and national taxes, but also on financial support policies available to SMEs.

To help create a business-friendly environment and strengthen trust in tax administration, Busan Metropolitan City will present local tax case studies relevant to businesses. The Busan Regional Tax Office will explain recently revised tax laws, while the Busan Economic Promotion Agency will introduce policy financing programs and other support measures for SMEs.

SME representatives and employees wishing to attend may apply through the Event Information section of the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry website at www.bcci.or.kr. Participation is limited to the first 100 applicants.

We will continue to explore various measures to support businesses through local tax administration and do our utmost to address the challenges faced by local companies.”
