Busan Metropolitan City Launches “Mailing Service Subscription Event” to Deliver City News All at Once by Email

Busan Metropolitan City, led by Mayor Park Heong-joon, announced that it will hold the “Busan City News, All at Once by Email (Mailing Service Subscription Event)” from March 3 to March 22 so that citizens can receive major city administration news and daily life information more quickly and conveniently.

The Mailing Service Subscription Event has been organized to raise awareness of the Busan Metropolitan City mailing service and to promote its use.

The Busan Metropolitan City mailing service provides customized information essential to citizens’ daily lives, including city administration news, monthly culture and event updates, and surveys.

The event is open to both existing and new members of the Busan Metropolitan City website.

Existing members will be automatically entered into the event by logging in to the website and subscribing to at least one category under the [Mailing Service] menu in [My Page].

Non-members can participate by agreeing to the optional consent for the collection and use of personal information during the membership registration process and applying for the mailing service at the same time.

Among new and existing subscribers who maintain their subscription during the event period, a total of 200 winners will be selected by random drawing to receive mobile gift certificates worth KRW 5,000.

Winners will be selected through a random drawing and announced on March 23 on the Busan Metropolitan City website’s Notice section at https://www.busan.go.kr/nbnews. The prizes will be sent sequentially after the announcement date.

Won Young-il, Spokesperson of Busan Metropolitan City, stated, “We prepared this event so that more citizens can conveniently receive a wide range of information through the mailing service,” adding, “We will continue striving to deliver city administration news more easily and in a more friendly manner from the citizens’ perspective.”
