Looking for the Hands That Will Make the Games Shine: Volunteers Wanted for the The 55th National Junior Sports Festival and The 20th National Youth Para Games

Busan Metropolitan City (Mayor Park Heong-joon) announced that it will recruit volunteers for The 55th National Junior Sports Festival and The 20th National Youth Para Games from today (23) through March 23.

Volunteers will support the successful hosting of the two Games by assisting with tasks such as operating the integrated situation room, supporting the opening ceremony, and helping run venue information desks.

Volunteers will be provided with basic volunteer training, verification of volunteer service hours, uniforms and commemorative items, and reimbursement of activity expenses, so they can take pride in serving as key contributors who make the Games shine through dedication and service.

During the Games, volunteers will be responsible for tasks such as operating the situation room, providing guidance at venues, and cheering support. In particular, 100 leader volunteers will be selected to oversee volunteer staffing and on-site management for each venue.

Volunteer applications for the two Games will be accepted either online through the volunteer portal system (vol.busan1365.kr) or through the volunteer center of the applicant’s district or county of residence (in person or by mail). Anyone aged 18 or older may apply.

After the recruitment period, volunteers will be selected through a screening process, and the results will be posted on the volunteer portal system (vol.busan1365.kr) on March 31.
