Bokcheon Museum to Host Lunar New Year Experience Program “Colorful, My Own Wish Fortune Pouch”

Bokcheon Museum, under the Busan Metropolitan City Museum, announced that it will hold the “Colorful, My Own Wish Fortune Pouch” event during the 2026 Lunar New Year holiday period (February 14–18).

The event has been designed to provide visitors with an opportunity to reflect on the meaning of tradition and strengthen family bonds by decorating their own fortune pouches, writing down their New Year’s wishes, and hanging them on a “Wish Tree.”

Participants will first use the provided templates along with coloring tools such as markers and stickers to color and decorate their fortune pouches. They will then carefully write their New Year’s goals or heartfelt wishes on the back of the decorated pouch. Finally, they will hang their completed fortune pouches on the “Wish Tree” set up inside the museum for display, offering prayers for good fortune in the year ahead.
