Busan Connects CES 2026 Participants with Global Investors through “Global Business Networking Day”

Busan Metropolitan City announced that it hosted the “Global Business Networking Day” event at 7:00 p.m. (local time) on January 7 in Las Vegas, USA, providing an exchange platform to help identify cooperation opportunities and promote investment between Busan companies and global investors and buyers.

The event was held in an open networking format with around 150 participants, including companies participating in CES 2026 as part of the second cohort of Team Busan (TEAM BUSAN), along with local global investors (VCs) and buyers. It served as an opportunity to engage in practical communication and explore collaboration possibilities with global investors and buyers.

A total of 28 innovative Busan companies are taking part in CES 2026. Going beyond formal consultations on the exhibition floor, the networking day was designed to take place in a more open and relaxed setting, featuring a Korean dinner.

Korea LFP, CIT, Resol, iCOOCA, NewRizon, DataFlare, Two Hands Interactive, Sign Lab, JJ&Company, Sharpen Goat, Slash B Slash, DoubleO, Tiger AI, Total Soft Bank, COAI, Marina Chain, Ilju G&S, IROOTI, OTWO Lab (Dong-Eui University), Vision Tech (Kyungsung University), Busan Digital Asset Exchange (Pukyong National University), Ocean Drone Technology (Korea Maritime & Ocean University), UNIS (Dong-A University), Christine Company (Dong-Eui University), GenLife (Pusan National University), Heart Saver (Pukyong National University), NF (Dong-A University), and iBIZ (Kyungsung University).

In particular, the event focused on enabling Busan companies to directly present their core technologies and business visions, and to hold in-depth discussions on possibilities for investment attraction and building global partnerships.

A CEO of a participating Busan company said, “This networking day was a meaningful opportunity to engage directly with global investors in the vivid local business environment and effectively convey our technological competitiveness and growth vision,” adding, “Through natural conversations and exchanges, we were able to confirm real collaboration potential and gain confidence in entering the global market.”

Mayor Park Heong-joon stated, “I hope this event will serve as a starting point that broadens mutual understanding between Busan companies and global investors and buyers, and leads to tangible outcomes of cooperation,” adding, “We will continue to strengthen support to expand global networking and connect companies with investment, so that Busan’s innovative enterprises can enhance their competitiveness and grow in the global market.”
