A Spectacle of Light Unfolding in the Heart of the City: “2026 Domoheon Media Facade Exhibition” to Be Held

Busan Metropolitan City announced that Mayor Park Heong-joon, in partnership with BNK Busan Bank, will host the “Domoheon Media Facade Exhibition” every Saturday from January 10 through February 28, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at the Domoheon Soso Pung Garden, with the aim of revitalizing winter nighttime tourism and expanding cultural opportunities for citizens.

Under the theme “Memories, Transformation, and Harmony of Domoheon,” the exhibition will project video works onto the exterior walls of the building, presenting media art pieces that blend light, imagery, and music to offer visitors a new nighttime cultural experience.

In particular, this exhibition goes beyond conventional lighting-focused nighttime scenery by combining media art with citizen-participation programs as a comprehensive cultural event. As the city welcomes the new year, the exhibition is expected to deliver warm light to citizens’ daily lives and transform the Domoheon area into a vibrant nighttime cultural destination, marking the beginning of 2026 together with citizens and sharing the excitement and warmth of a new start.

The media facade exhibition will begin at 6:30 p.m., featuring approximately 10 minutes of content broadcast consecutively three times. After the exhibition, from 7:00 p.m., a variety of participatory programs—including music performances, magic shows, and recreational activities—will be held at the Domoheon Main Building’s Dahal Lecture Hall, allowing visitors to continue enjoying the experience while staying warm.
