Busan Metropolitan City to Host a Special Lecture on “Franchise CEO Strategies and Understanding the Fair Franchise Transactions Act”

Busan Mayor Park Heong-joon announced that Busan Metropolitan City will host a special lecture titled “Franchise CEO Strategies and Understanding the Fair Franchise Transactions Act” at 2 p.m. on November 26 in the 1st-floor main conference hall at City Hall to support the stable growth of the local franchise industry and establish a fair trade environment.

This special lecture has been prepared to provide franchise headquarters and industry practitioners in Busan with insights and practical know-how for successful franchise management, while also enhancing understanding of the Fair Franchise Transactions Act to prevent disputes.

In Part 1, Lee Seong-sil, CEO of Ten Percent Coffee Co., Ltd., will present a lecture titled “A company creates its employees, and employees create the company,” sharing strategies and examples for effective headquarters management based on real-world experience.

In Part 2, the Fair Trade Support Team of the Small Business Support Division will explain key legal matters and major dispute-prevention strategies in franchise operations, focusing on Fair Trade Commission case studies.

The application period for this special lecture runs from tomorrow, November 17, through November 21. Registration is free and available via the Fair Trade Notice Board on the City’s website (busan.go.kr/depart/ecnmfairtrade03).

The City expects that this special lecture will help franchise headquarters and industry practitioners operate their businesses successfully, prevent conflicts that may arise during operations, and contribute to establishing a healthy franchise business culture.
