2025–2026 Season Busan KCC Egis Professional Basketball Team to Hold Home Opening Game on November 15

Busan Metropolitan City (Mayor Park Heong-joon) announced that the home opening game of the “Busan KCC Egis Professional Basketball Team” (Team Owner Jeong Jae-hoon, hereinafter “KCC Egis”) will be held at 16:30 on November 15 at Busan Sajik Indoor Gymnasium.

This home opener marks the team’s first home game following the start of the regular season, and KCC Egis will officially kick off the season with fans as they face Ulsan Hyundai Mobis.

The opening game will be attended by KCC Egis Team Owner Jeong Jae-hoon, General Manager Choi Hyeong-gil, and numerous basketball fans and citizens filling the stadium, setting the stage for an important first match signaling the team’s challenge for the championship this season.

KCC Egis strengthened its roster this season by signing top free agent Heo Hoon and appointed Coach Lee Sang-min in its bid to reclaim the championship trophy.

In the first round of the regular league, KCC Egis showcased stable performance, ranking third overall. Player Heo Woong was selected as the MVP of the first round, further heightening expectations for the team’s success this season.

Basketball fans and Busan citizens visiting the stadium will be able to experience the excitement of the season’s opening through various pre-game celebratory events starting at 15:26.

The event program begins with a home-opening video, followed by a victory-themed performance by the cheerleading squad and an energetic celebratory stage by the multinational seven-member boy group N.SSign.

Following the performances, the home and away teams will be introduced, after which the KCC Egis team owner will deliver opening remarks, and the general manager will declare the official start of the basketball season.

Beginning at 16:30, KCC Egis will take to the main court of Sajik Indoor Gymnasium to face Ulsan Hyundai Mobis in their first home game of the season, striving for victory amid enthusiastic support from the fans.

Meanwhile, the 2025–2026 KBL regular season will run until April 8 of next year, with each team playing 54 games (27 home and 27 away). The top six teams in the final standings will advance to the playoffs.

Tickets for the opening game can be reserved online through the integrated KBL website (www.kbl.or.kr) or via the KBL app (which supports smart-ticket entry), and can also be purchased on-site on game day.
