Parents and Children Together… Medical Information Fair on Pregnancy, Childbirth, and Childcare “2025 Mom-Peaceful Busan” to Be Held

Busan Metropolitan City (Mayor Park Heong-joon) announced that it will host the 9th Medical Information Fair on Pregnancy, Childbirth, and Childcare, titled “2025 Mom-Peaceful Busan,” for two days from November 7 (Friday) to November 8 (Saturday) at Dasom Square in Busan Citizens Park.

“Mom-Peaceful Busan” is a medical information fair that provides expectant parents and citizens in the Busan area with diverse knowledge and information related to pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare.

About 50 local hospitals, clinics, public institutions, and private organizations related to pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare will set up booths on-site to carry out promotional and educational activities.

The event will feature a variety of programs, including an opening ceremony, exhibition programs, lectures, outdoor programs, and side events.

The opening ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m. on November 7 at the outdoor special stage of Dasom Square in Busan Citizens Park, with about 200 local residents and guests expected to attend and celebrate the opening.

The exhibition programs will consist of the “Medical Zone,” made up of medical institutions; the “Busan Zone,” centered on public and educational organizations; the “Corporate Zone,” involving childcare-related companies; and the “Experience Zone,” focusing on hands-on activities. These zones aim to deliver accurate information on pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare in an easy-to-understand way for citizens.

In the Medical Zone, 12 medical institutions — including Dong-A University Hospital, Good Samsun Hospital, Sehwa Hospital, Dong-Eui Medical Center, and Giant Hospital — will participate. Continuing from last year, Busan St. Mary’s Hospital and Haeundae Bumin Hospital will operate mobile “Medical Buses” offering basic health checkups and consultations.

In the Busan Zone, local public health centers, the City’s Fire and Disaster Headquarters, the Center for Children’s Foodservice Management, the Childcare Support Center, community child centers, the Independent Living Support Center, and the Busan Association of Childcare Centers will operate booths to promote various policies such as nutrition management and maternal and child health programs.

In the Corporate Zone, companies such as Red Pen, Woongjin Book Club, and Meritz Fire & Marine Insurance will introduce educational and content programs related to childcare.

In the Experience Zone, children can enjoy various programs including art education, pet experiences, and a children’s flea market.

The lecture program will feature an “Influencer Talk Concert” and “A Nature Walk with Author Kwon Oh-joon.”

At the Influencer Talk Concert, comedian YouTubers Jung Chan-min and Lee Su-hyun will perform as content creators and share tips on maintaining a happy relationship as a couple.

During “A Nature Walk with Author Kwon Oh-joon,” the ecological storyteller will guide participants around Citizens Park, exploring plants and animals in nature through an experiential learning program. Citizens wishing to join can register in advance, and participation will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Outdoor programs and side events will include the “Random Dance Challenge” with the Busan children’s dance group Ground D, the “Family Entertainment Show” for all ages, and fun participatory events such as the “Paper Airplane Contest” and the “My Child’s Talent Show Performance.”
