Busan Library and Busan Cultural Foundation Sign Agreement for Cooperation in Reading and Cultural Arts

Busan Library (hereinafter “the Library”) announced that it will sign a “Business Agreement for Cooperation in Reading and Cultural Arts” with the Busan Cultural Foundation (CEO Oh Jae-hwan) today (November 7) at 3:00 p.m. to promote reading and to help citizens enjoy cultural arts in their daily lives.

The signing ceremony will be attended by the Director of Busan Library, the CEO of Busan Cultural Foundation, and other related officials.

This agreement was prepared to provide citizens with richer reading and cultural arts experiences through collaboration between Busan Library, a cultural infrastructure institution in the local community, and the Busan Cultural Foundation, a specialized organization for culture and the arts.

The main contents of the agreement include:
– Sharing and supporting reading and cultural arts content and human and material resources
– Joint development and operation of reading and cultural arts experience programs
– Other collaborative projects deemed necessary by both parties.

Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to jointly design various programs and content so that reading and cultural arts can naturally blend into citizens’ daily lives, and to create open cultural spaces where everyone can easily participate.

Park Eun-ah, Director of Busan Library, stated, “Through this agreement, Busan Library will grow beyond a simple reading space to become an open venue for communication with citizens through culture and the arts,” adding, “We will combine the strengths of both organizations to create synergy.”
