□ Busan Metropolitan City (Mayor Park Heong-joon) announced that twelve Busan companies have received Innovation Awards and Best Innovation Awards ahead of ‘CES 2026’, the world’s largest consumer electronics exhibition, which will be held in Las Vegas, USA, in January 2026.

○ The companies that received Innovation Awards (10) include:
CIT Co., Ltd. – developer of ultra-flat copper deposition equipment for semiconductor packaging on glass substrates;
Dataflare Co., Ltd. – developer of a vessel identification and carbon-emission monitoring platform;
Two Hands Interactive Co., Ltd. – developer of an augmented reality digital fitness platform utilizing sensors;
Sharpen Goat Co., Ltd. – developer of a disaster-safety system using LiDAR, AI, and IoT technologies;
Vision Tech Co., Ltd. – developer of a leakage-current-limiting waterproof circuit breaker;
Hub Platform Co., Ltd. – developer of Peanut Cat, a cat-recognition, targeted-type automatic smart feeder;
Power Cool Co., Ltd. – developer of the Power Cool Handy, a hybrid portable air conditioner;
Viewrun Technology Co., Ltd. – developer of ViewX, a LiDAR software integrated development platform;
and MOSS Co., Ltd. – developer of an all-in-one music platform.
One additional company will be announced on-site during CES 2026.

○ The companies that received Best Innovation Awards (2) are:
Crosshub Co., Ltd. – for its blockchain-based 4th-generation hybrid identity authentication (IDBlock) technology;
and Studio Lab Co., Ltd. – for its mixed-reality-based GENCY Studio, combining virtual screens, VFX, AI, and filming robots into an integrated digital production platform.

□ Particularly noteworthy this year is that Crosshub Co., Ltd. and Studio Lab Co., Ltd. became the first Busan-based companies to receive Best Innovation Awards at CES, drawing significant global attention.

○ Crosshub Co., Ltd. showcased Busan’s technological competitiveness to the global market through its blockchain-based IDBlock identity authentication and cross-border payment service (BlockPay).
○ Studio Lab Co., Ltd., recognized for its intelligent filming robot GENCY Studio in the XR & Spatial Computing field, achieved a record of three consecutive CES recognitions—two Innovation Awards and one Best Innovation Award.

□ This remarkable result represents the culmination of Busan Metropolitan City’s consistent efforts since 2021 to support small and medium-sized enterprises and drive technological innovation.

○ The City has hosted global strategic briefings, customized one-on-one consultations, and produced English promotional videos tailored to each company’s needs. This year, a buyer-matching program was newly established to ensure that Innovation Award achievements can directly translate into overseas expansion and business success.
○ The awards received by Crosshub and Studio Lab are particularly meaningful, as they represent the tangible outcomes of Busan’s continued efforts to foster the blockchain and robotics industries.

○ Crosshub Co., Ltd., established in May 2024, is a blockchain-based next-generation identity authentication and global payment solution company that is rapidly emerging as a leading fintech innovator.
○ Studio Lab Co., Ltd., in collaboration with the Korea Institute of Robot and Convergence (Director Kang Ki-won), established its Busan research office and conducted a demonstration project for GENCY Studio at Busan Station in 2024.

□ Meanwhile, Busan Metropolitan City is working with its affiliated organizations and local universities to support startups and small-to-medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in future high-tech sectors, including participation in CES 2026.

○ Partner organizations include the Busan Economic Promotion Agency, Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency, Busan Technopark, Busan Startup Investment Agency, Busan Institute of Industrial Convergence, and Busan Rise Innovation Institute, in collaboration with six local universities—Kyungsung University, Pukyong National University, Dong-A University, Dong-Eui University, Korea Maritime & Ocean University, and Pusan National University. Together, they operate various programs such as exhibition participation support, business competency training, investment (IR) briefings, and global networking sessions.

○ This year, six local universities participating in the Busan Rise Project have joined forces, establishing a new model for collaboration among industry, academia, and the city.

□ Additionally, Busan Metropolitan City has secured a record-high 30 exhibition booths for CES 2026, where 28 Busan companies will participate.

○ On November 21 at 3:00 PM, Busan Metropolitan City will host the TEAM BUSAN 2nd Launch Ceremony at Space Wonji in Yeongdo District, attended by approximately 100 participants, including officials from supporting institutions, participating companies, and supporters. This event marks the beginning of Busan’s collective challenge toward innovation at CES 2026.
