2025 Busan Sale Festa Opens Its Third Chapter: “Jeonggwan Dolphin Street Opening Festa” to Be Held!

Busan Metropolitan City (Mayor Park Heong-joon) announced that the “2025 Busan Sale Festa – Jeonggwan Dolphin Street Opening Festa” will take place for three days from October 24 (Fri) to 26 (Sun) at the Jwagwangcheon Local Garden (Witgoll Park) and throughout the Jeonggwan 7–8-ro commercial district.

The city organized the event to revitalize local business districts struggling in the aftermath of COVID-19. It is expected to serve as a stepping stone for creating a sustainable local economic ecosystem and promoting local brand identity.

In particular, through the “Jeonggwan Dolphin Street Proclamation Ceremony,” the city aims to officially announce to the public the new name jointly created by the community and local merchants, marking the first step toward revitalizing the district.

Taking into account that the Jeonggwan area attracts many family visitors, the event is designed as a participatory festival for both residents and merchants.

At the “Dolphin Playground,” visitors can enjoy various hands-on activities such as the Dolphin Family Quiz Show, Dolphin Store Slogan Quiz, First Ballad King of Dolphin Street Singing Contest, Laser Survival Game, and Balloon Art.

The “Dolphin Band” will perform a three-minute pop-up concert at participating stores over the three days, offering shoppers a unique experience that combines consumption with cultural performances.

At the “Special Stage in Witgoll Park,” diverse performance content will be showcased, including jazz concerts, bubble shows, magic shows, and instrumental performances, providing an enjoyable experience for all ages.

Generous benefits have also been prepared for visitors. These include a discount of up to 50% on experience coupons (for use at participating stores), a first-customer event, and store-specific discount promotions.

• ●Experience Coupon Sales: Coupons worth KRW 50,000 and KRW 30,000 will be sold at up to 50% off.

• ●First-Customer Event: The first visitor to each participating store during the festival period will receive a free coupon.

• ●Store-Specific Discount Events: Participating merchants will hold special limited-time discounts during the festival.

This event marks the third Busan Sale Festa, following the “Soo-Vi BEXCO Co-Prosperity Market” in June and the “Busan National University Commercial Area Reboot Project – Toward the Front Gate” in September. The next Busan Sale Festa is scheduled for November in the Jeonpo Tool Street area of Busanjin-gu, offering citizens another opportunity to enjoy local festivities that stimulate consumption and help restore the local economy.
