2025 Second Half Meeting of the Greater Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Regional Cooperation Working Committee Held Today (Oct. 21)

The Greater Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Regional Economic Alliance Promotion Team (hereinafter “the Promotion Team”) announced that it will hold the 2025 Second Half Meeting of the Greater Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Regional Cooperation Working Committee at 2 p.m. today (Oct. 21) in the convention hall of Busan City Hotel.

The meeting will be attended by Kim Kyung-tae, Director General of Planning and Coordination at Busan Metropolitan City, officials overseeing the Greater BUG cooperation projects from the three cities and provinces, and about 100 related participants including the head of the Promotion Team.

This meeting has been organized to review the overall progress of the 2025 BUG cooperative projects, share achievements, and discuss future directions.

The main agenda includes:
– Reviewing and sharing the implementation status and achievements of the 57 cooperative projects planned for 2025
– Discussing the progress and outcomes of key BUG regional projects and resident-centered initiatives, and future plans
– Exploring new cooperative projects in connection with the national policy agenda of the new government

Jumin Hee, Head of the Greater Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Regional Economic Alliance Promotion Team, stated,

“Through this meeting, it is important that the residents of Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam recognize themselves as sharing one living zone and feel tangible benefits through the 57 cooperative projects being implemented across various fields such as culture, transportation, and welfare. Moving forward, the three cities and provinces will continue to work together to discover and promote new cooperative projects in alignment with the national policy agenda.”
