A Shared Festival for Small Business Owners and Citizens “The 2nd Busan Small Business Owners’ Mutual Growth Festival” to Be Held

Busan Metropolitan City (Mayor Park Heong-joon) announced that the “2nd Busan Small Business Owners’ Mutual Growth Festival” will be held for two days from October 18 to 19 near Oncheoncheon Stream by Jangjeon Station in Geumjeong-gu.

This festival is designed to promote the consumption of small business products and convey a message of coexistence. It is hosted and organized by the Busan Small Business Owners Association (Chairperson Choi Song-hee), with support from the City of Busan, Geumjeong-gu Office, and SODAM Square Busan.

Overview of the 2nd Busan Small Business Owners’ Mutual Growth Festival

• ●Period: October 18 (Sat) – October 19 (Sun), 2 days
  Opening Ceremony: October 18 (Sat), 17:00

• ●Venue: Oncheoncheon Stream area near Jangjeon Station, Geumjeong-gu

• ●Participants: Approximately 2,000 people (association members and citizens)

• ●Main Programs: Opening ceremony, sales exhibition (38 sales booths for small business owners), flea market (20 booths), Naver Shopping Live Zone (1), side events (policy promotion booths [2], small business promotion booths [5]), and performances & experiences such as the Mutual Growth Singing Contest, busking performances, and citizen experience programs.

The event will consist of four main parts — Opening Ceremony, Sales Exhibition, Side Events, and Performances & Experience Programs. The opening ceremony will take place at 5:00 p.m. on October 18 at the outdoor stage within the venue.

At the opening ceremony, around 30 guests — including Mayor Park Heong-joon, Superintendent of Education Kim Seok-joon, Geumjeong-gu Mayor Yoon Il-hyun, and Song Chi-young, Chairperson of the Korea Federation of Micro Enterprise — will attend to celebrate the commencement of the event.

Sales Exhibition:
Visitors will be able to explore a variety of products from excellent small businesses in Busan through 38 small business sales booths and 20 flea market stalls. The Naver Shopping Live Zone will also feature live streaming of product sales, offering special discounts during the broadcasts.

Side Events:
At the two Policy Promotion Booths, visitors can participate in receipt verification events. The five Small Business Promotion Booths will offer giveaways such as fan merchandise (goods) and discount coupons through various promotional activities.

Performances and Experience Programs:
To create a space for mutual growth between small business owners and citizens, the event will feature engaging citizen participation programs, a Mutual Growth Singing Contest, and street performances (busking).
