Busan Metropolitan City to Host Live Broadcast “Busan as Told by Honorary Ambassador Dasha Taran”

Busan Metropolitan City (Mayor Park Heong-joon) announced that it will host a live broadcast titled “Busan as Told by Honorary Ambassador Dasha Taran” today (October 15) at 4:00 p.m. through the city’s communication character “Boogi” on the YouTube channel BoogiTube

The live broadcast will be hosted by “Boogi” in an interactive talk show format with citizens, under the theme “Busan as Experienced by Honorary Ambassador Dasha Taran.” The program will feature citizen participation content introducing Busan through various themes such as Dasha Taran’s first impressions of the city, local cuisine, culture and festivals, and unique attractions.

Anyone can watch the live stream on Boogi’s official YouTube channel (BoogiTube) and participate by sending real-time comments and questions directly to Dasha Taran.

Dasha Taran, a well-known influencer from Russia, was appointed as the ambassador for the city’s digital multilingual menu initiative in July and participated as a promotional model for Busan Ollang, a menu creation platform highlighting signature local dishes and restaurants.

City spokesperson Won Young-il stated, “Busan recently surpassed two million foreign visitors, expanding global awareness of the city’s charm,” and added, “We expect this live broadcast with a popular influencer like Dasha Taran to further enhance Busan’s reputation as a friendly and stylish city among MZ Generation viewers and international tourists.”
