The Busan Women’s Culture Center announced that it will operate the “2025 Women’s Culture and Arts Academy” from November 5 to December 3 under the theme “The Future of Creative Culture Transformed by AI.”

This program has been designed to help women understand and creatively utilize digital technologies in the rapidly evolving age of artificial intelligence (AI).

Program Overview

• ●Period: November 5 (Wed) – December 3 (Wed), every Wednesday and Friday, 19:30–21:30 (8 sessions total)

• ●Venue: Computer Room, 3rd Floor, Busan Women’s Culture Center

• ●Eligibility: 25 women residing in Busan (male applicants may be accepted if the class does not reach the female enrollment quota)

• ●Theme: The Future of Creative Culture Transformed by AI

• ●Content: Practical AI-based lessons using mobile phones and computers

The academy, titled “The Future of Creative Culture Transformed by AI,” will begin on November 5 and continue for five weeks until December 3, taking place every Wednesday and Friday from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., for a total of eight sessions.
Participants who attend at least six sessions will receive a certificate of completion signed by the Director of the Busan Women’s Culture Center.

The lectures will focus on practical applications of AI using smartphones and computers, covering a wide range of topics such as:

• ●Understanding and applying generative AI

• ●Producing images and voice videos using AI

• ●Advanced AI utilization and future outlooks

Any woman residing in Busan can take part in the program free of charge. Registration opens today (October 15) at 9:00 a.m. and can be completed online via the city’s Integrated Reservation System (reserve.busan.go.kr), in person, or by phone (☎ 051-320-8344).
Up to 25 participants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and male applicants may be considered if female participation falls below the quota.

Lee Yeon-ak, Director of the Busan Women’s Culture Center, stated,
“We hope this academy will serve as an opportunity for women to develop creative capabilities using AI and to explore greater possibilities across diverse fields.”
