Busan Metropolitan City held a ceremony on October 10 at 4:00 p.m. in the Reception Room of City Hall, together with BNK Busan Bank and the Busan Mecenat Association, to present donated items for the opening ceremony of the 106th National Sports Festival in 2025.

Mayor Park Heong-joon attended the event along with Bang Seong-bin, CEO of BNK Busan Bank, and Kim Heung-soo, Executive Director of the Busan Mecenat Association.

• ●Donated Items: Cushions, cheering clappers, Sikhye (sweet rice drink), and backpacks for the convenience of spectators at the opening ceremony of the National Sports Festival.

• ●Donation Method: BNK Busan Bank provided a sponsorship fund to the Busan Mecenat Association, which then used the funds to prepare the support items and donated them to the City.

The donation items were prepared through contributions from BNK Busan Bank to the Busan Mecenat Association, which used the funds to purchase the items and deliver them to Busan Metropolitan City. These items will be distributed to attendees of the opening ceremony of the 106th National Sports Festival, to be held on October 17, providing convenience and enhancing the festive atmosphere.

As a leading local financial institution representing the Busan region, BNK Busan Bank has continuously supported major sporting events, serving as the main sponsor of last year’s Busan World Table Tennis Championships and now contributing sponsorship funds to ensure the successful hosting of the National Sports Festival, the first to be held in Busan in 25 years.
