Chuseok Special: Buy Domestic Seafood at Traditional Markets and Receive Onnuri Gift Certificates

Busan Metropolitan City (Mayor Park Heong-joon) announced that it will hold a traditional market seafood refund event with Onnuri gift certificates until October 5 to ease consumer burdens during the Chuseok holiday and to stimulate consumption.

About 1,100 stores across 28 traditional markets in 11 districts, including Jung-gu, will participate in this refund event. Customers who purchase domestic seafood at these traditional markets will receive up to 30 percent of their purchase amount back in Onnuri gift certificates.

Consumers who purchase domestic seafood at these traditional markets will receive 20,000 KRW in Onnuri gift certificates for purchases of 67,000 KRW or more, and 10,000 KRW for purchases between 34,000 KRW and less than 67,000 KRW. Refunds are limited to a maximum of 20,000 KRW per person during the event period.

During the event period, consumers must bring their receipt for domestic seafood purchases along with an ID card for verification, and apply for a refund at the designated refund event booth in the market.

However, purchases made with Zero Pay (mobile) gift certificates, seafood purchased at general restaurants, imported seafood, government reserve release items, or receipts dated outside the event period will be excluded from refunds.
