Busan Metropolitan City Mayor Park Heong-joon announced that on the morning of the 23rd at 11:00 a.m., the Busan Metropolitan City Association of Chiefs of Ri and Chiefs of Tong (hereinafter referred to as the Association) carried out an environmental maintenance program and a welcoming promotion campaign at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium in preparation for the upcoming National Sports Festival and National Para Games in Busan.

This event was held to create an atmosphere conducive to the successful hosting of the 2025 National Sports Festival and the National Para Games in Busan. It expressed the commitment to provide a clean and pleasant urban environment to warmly welcome guests.

The “Warm Welcome Campaign” was organized to greet athletes and visitors attending the National Sports Festival and the National Para Games in Busan this year, contributing to the successful hosting of the events through a clean city environment and warm hospitality.

The Association conducted environmental maintenance activities around the Asiad Main Stadium while also engaging nearby citizens and passersby in a “Smile, Kindness, and Cleanliness” campaign, distributing promotional materials to spread the image of a “Clean and Warm Busan.”

This event was designed to provide tourists and visitors during the festival period with a clean and pleasant urban environment. By carrying out environmental maintenance and conducting a promotional campaign centered on “Smile, Kindness, and Clean Busan,” the Association contributed to fostering a welcoming atmosphere.

Lee Jeong-suk, Chairperson of the Association, remarked, “The National Sports Festival and the National Para Games are an important opportunity to elevate Busan’s standing. The warm smiles of citizens and the clean city environment will lay the foundation for the successful hosting of these events.”
