Citizen-Engaged Healthcare Festival, KOMAD 2025, to Be Held!

Busan Metropolitan City, under the sponsorship of Mayor Park Heong-joon, announced that the integrated healthcare event “KOMAD 2025” will be held at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 1 from September 26 to 28.

KOMAD 2025 will be a large-scale healthcare festival where the medical community and citizens come together. The three main events—the “Regional Healthcare Decentralization Forum,” “K-Medi Fair,” and “KIMES Busan 2025”—will unfold simultaneously.

The event is supported by the Busan Hospital Association, the Busan Medical Association, and others, and is hosted by KNN. It has firmly established itself as a leading medical content exposition representing “Medical City Busan.”

First, the “Regional Healthcare Decentralization Forum” of KOMAD 2025 will be held on September 26 under the theme “Medical AI, a New Hope for Regional Healthcare?”.

Medical, industrial, and academic experts will convene to intensively discuss the application of AI in the medical field and ways to narrow healthcare gaps between regions. The forum will take place under the slogan “Regional Healthcare, Our Shared Responsibility,” seeking directions for the advancement of regional healthcare.

At the K-Medi Fair, university hospitals and local hospitals will jointly participate to provide free health check-ups, consultations, and medical experience programs.

Various programs will be offered by local university and specialized hospitals, including oriental medicine-based stress testing, cardiovascular disease testing, medication consultations, and glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) testing.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to directly participate in health check-ups, manual therapy, and medical device demonstrations. In addition, prize events will be held for all attendees.

Alongside, KIMES Busan 2025, a specialized medical device exhibition, will be organized, offering the chance to experience state-of-the-art medical technologies and equipment firsthand while also serving as a venue for building global networking connections.
