Busan Metropolitan City to Host “Chuseok B-Beauty Day” - Discount Sales Event for Local Cosmetics

Busan Metropolitan City (Mayor Park Heong-joon) announced that it will host the “2025 Chuseok B-Beauty Day” on September 18, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the City Hall 1st floor lobby.

“B-Beauty Day” has been held annually since 2019 to enhance the brand recognition of Busan cosmetics companies and expand sales channels. The event is hosted by the City and jointly organized by Busan Technopark and the Busan Cosmetics Industry Association.

This year, 21 local cosmetics companies will participate, showcasing a wide range of products—such as skincare, makeup, body care, and perfume—at discounts of up to 70 percent. Through flea market-style exhibition and sales booths, citizens will be offered opportunities for rational consumption and product experiences.

In addition, a variety of events will be held for visitors, including the distribution of gift certificates and instant lottery draws.

From September 8 to 14, a preliminary “social media comment event” is taking place, awarding 10,000 won gift certificates to the first 100 participants who leave comments about the Busan cosmetics they want to purchase or their expectations for the event.

On the day of the event, customers who purchase more than 30,000 won in products will receive a 5,000 won gift certificate, while those who purchase over 50,000 won will be eligible to participate in an instant lottery draw with prizes such as mist, sunscreen, and facial masks.

All events allow multiple participation, and purchase amounts are calculated based on receipt totals excluding any amounts paid with gift certificates.
