Youth Spaces Tour and Catch Pikachu! Busan Metropolitan City to Host “Youth Spaces Stamp Tour” for Youth Day

Busan Metropolitan City (Mayor Park Heong-joon) announced that it will operate the “Youth Spaces Stamp Tour – Let’s Tour Together, Youth Spaces” from September 20 to 26 in celebration of Youth Day (September 20) and during Busan Youth Week.

This stamp tour has been designed to help young people become more familiar with youth spaces and encourage them to make greater use of them.

The tour will take place at 34 youth spaces across the city, including the Busan Youth Center and the Youth Dodream Center. Any young person residing in or active in Busan, aged between 18 and 39, is eligible to participate.

Participants can receive verification stamps by using the stamp tour map on the back of the “Busan Youth Week promotional leaflet” available at each youth space.

To complete the tour, participants must visit five different youth spaces and collect stamps. However, only one space will be recognized if multiple spaces are located in the same building or adjacent to one another. For smooth distribution of commemorative gifts, the fifth and final visit must be to either the Busan Youth Center or the Youth Dodream Center.

Finishers will receive one of four commemorative items, including a Lotte Giants Pikachu character keyring. Gifts will be available starting September 22 and are prepared in limited quantities, so distribution may close early once supplies run out.

Youth spaces are places where young people can take a break and interact with their peers. As of the end of August 2025, a total of 34 youth spaces are operated by the city (9) and districts (25).

In addition to being simple resting places, they provide diverse programs such as employment and startup support, one-day classes, performances, psychological counseling, and special lectures, reflecting the needs of young people.

Kim Gwi-ok, Director General of the Youth-Industry Bureau, stated, “We hope this stamp tour will be a great opportunity for young people to directly experience and enjoy various youth spaces,” and added, “We look forward to many young people participating so that youth spaces will become even more actively used in everyday life.”
