Busan Metropolitan City – Ministry of Economy and Finance One-Stop Export and Order Support Team Holding the “Export Enterprise Financial Support Briefing Session”!

Busan Metropolitan City (Mayor Park Heong-joon) announced that, in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy and Finance One-Stop Export and Order Support Team (hereinafter referred to as the Support Team), it will hold the “Export Enterprise Financial Support Program Briefing Session” on September 22 at 10:30 a.m. at Exhibition Hall 1 of BEXCO.

This briefing session follows the “One-Stop Export 119 Roundtable” co-hosted with the Support Team in March, and has been prepared to help resolve financial difficulties faced by local export companies.

The session will proceed with introductions of major export finance support programs provided by each institution, followed by a Q&A session to address companies’ questions.

Participating institutions are six policy financial organizations: Export-Import Bank of Korea, Korea Trade Insurance Corporation, Korea SMEs and Startups Agency, Korea Credit Guarantee Fund, Korea Technology Finance Corporation, and Industrial Bank of Korea (IBK).

Through this briefing, Busan Metropolitan City will directly hear about the difficulties faced by export companies and reflect the findings in policy-making processes, preparing customized support measures that companies can tangibly benefit from.

Applications for participation will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until 6:00 p.m. on September 19 via the Busan Overseas Marketing Integration System (trade.bepa.kr).

Meanwhile, the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) Busan Regional Office will host the “Strategic Briefing Session on Trade Environment Response” on the same day, September 22, at 2:00 p.m. at BEXCO. The main agenda includes response strategies for Korean exporters to the U.S., application methods for U.S. Advanced Ruling (pre-review system), among other topics. Registration is available through the Busan Overseas Marketing Integration System (trade.bepa.kr).
