Busan Metropolitan City (Mayor Park Heong-joon) announced the launch and operation of the integrated platform, the 15-Minute City “Busan Parks” website (www.busan.go.kr/park), which provides comprehensive information on parks, gardens, forests, and companion animal culture.

This website consolidates previously dispersed information into one place, enabling citizens to easily find information about parks and green spaces in their 15-minute city life, and to check and apply for park leisure programs.

The website is composed of seven categories: ▲Green City Busan ▲Park Guide ▲Garden Guide ▲Forest and Green Space Guide ▲Companion Animal Culture Guide ▲News ▲Reservations, providing one-stop access to related information.

It not only offers detailed information on major parks, gardens, and forest green spaces across “15-Minute City” Busan, but also integrates information on spaces available for use with companion animals.

Specifically, it provides comprehensive guidance on: ▲Park searches by region and type ▲Various garden information including local and private gardens ▲Forest resources and utilization methods such as urban forests, recreational forests, arboreta, and Sasang Forest Experience Center ▲Companion animal culture information including Companion Animal Culture Parks, dog playgrounds, animal registration system, and Companion Animal Welfare and Culture Center.

In addition, through the ▲News and ▲Reservations menus, the site will offer news related to parks, gardens, forests, and companion animal culture, along with services for event and program reservations.

From October, advance reservations for the “Busan Parks” leisure programs, which have been operated at eight parks since July this year, will be available through the website.

The city plans to continue expanding various content through the 15-Minute City “Busan Parks” website, providing citizens with easy access to information that allows them to fully enjoy parks, forests, and companion animal culture.

Ahn Cheol-soo, Director General of Green City Bureau, stated, “The newly launched ‘Busan Parks’ website is an integrated platform that brings together previously scattered information on parks, gardens, forests, and companion animal culture in one place. We expect that citizens will be able to more conveniently access parks and forests in their daily lives, as well as a wide variety of leisure programs and companion animal cultural spaces.”
