From Head to Heart: Healing at Dadaepo Beach with “Super Earthing” and “Music Camcnic”

Busan Metropolitan City (Mayor Park Heong-joon) and the Busan Tourism Organization (President Lee Jeong-sil) announced that diverse programs will be held from day to night at Dadaepo Beach during the first and second weekends of this month.

First, the “2025 Western Busan Super Earthing Nature Festival” will be launched for the first time on September 6–7 at Dadaepo Beach.

Earthing: a health activity that maximizes the benefits of walking barefoot along the sandy shoreline.

This event is part of the regional specialized content project designed to promote Dadaepo Beach and revitalize tourism in western Busan. It will provide a wide range of earthing experiences and entertainment. The festival is hosted by Busan Metropolitan City and organized by the Busan Tourism Organization.

The opening ceremony on September 6 will begin with a “Foot Printing on Canvas” performance to mark the start of the festival. Following that, comedian Heo Kyung-hwan and more than 3,000 participants will warm up together with group exercises before enjoying Super Earthing against the backdrop of Dadaepo’s sunset.

Over the two days, visitors can experience unique programs such as “Challenge Earthing” with fitness influencers during the day, “Sound Earthing” walking while listening to music through LED headsets, and “Starlight Earthing” at night using LED umbrellas.

In addition, the festival will feature programs such as “Muscle Beach,” where exercise information can be shared and experienced; “Barefoot Beach Bar,” where visitors can enjoy drinks barefoot; a “Styling Zone” for face painting; and fusion Korean traditional music performances, among others.

Furthermore, from September 5 to 14, every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, the “2025 Starry Sea Busan Night Music Camcnic & Travel Show” will take place at Dadaepo Beach Park.

Camcnic (Camping + Picnic): A light outdoor activity near the city, similar to a picnic, that combines the fun of camping with the casual ease of a picnic.

Now in its third year, this event is co-hosted by Busan Metropolitan City, Saha-gu District, and the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam branch of the Korea Tourism Organization, and organized by the Busan Tourism Organization. It has become a beloved nighttime tourism program where visitors can enjoy the charm of Dadaepo evenings.

The Camcnic concerts will be held six times in total—on September 5–7 and 12–14—at the second lawn square of Dadaepo Beach Park. Each week, different genres will be showcased: indie bands from Busan on Fridays, talented vocalists on Saturdays, and crossover fusion vocal groups on Sundays.

Ahead of the main concerts, special pre-events such as surprise magic shows and fan meetings with popular entertainers will take place. Both pre-registered participants and walk-in visitors are welcome to enjoy the Camcnic.

In addition, the first and third lawn squares will host the “Travel Show Promotion Zone” and “Travel Show Experience Zone,” featuring resident enterprises from the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Tourism Enterprise Support Center and community businesses from the Tourism Dure initiative. These zones will offer opportunities to purchase products and participate in hands-on programs, enriching the late summer atmosphere.

At the “Travel Show Promotion Zone,” regional companies will promote and sell various tourism souvenirs and travel products, while visitors participating in the stamp tour can receive souvenirs at the event booth.

At the “Travel Show Experience Zone,” visitors can enjoy unique experiences such as playing the gayageum, making paper drones, and crafting keyrings.
