November 15 Busan Fireworks Festival Paid Seats Officially on Sale Starting Today (1st)

Busan Metropolitan City (Mayor Park Heong-joon) and the Busan Festivals Organization announced that paid seats for the 20th Busan Fireworks Festival, scheduled to be held on November 15, will be officially available for purchase starting at 2 p.m. today (1st).

As the representative festival of Busan and a specialized tourism product, the Busan Fireworks Festival is expected to fill the night sky with the most three-dimensional and dynamic fireworks ever, including the 20th anniversary special display utilizing the Gwangandaegyo Bridge.

The festival’s paid seats are divided into R seats, which include tables and chairs, and S seats, which provide only chairs.

Ticket prices are KRW 100,000 for R seats and KRW 70,000 for S seats, with seating located on the sandy beach in front of Hotel Aqua Palace and Homers Hotel in Gwangalli.

Ticket sales will be handled by the official ticketing agencies “Yes24 Ticket” (ticket.yes24.com) and the Busan Bank mobile banking app. Offline sales will be available at all Busan Bank branches, limited to S seats.

The “early bird tickets,” released on August 22, sold out within one minute, demonstrating the strong popularity of the Fireworks Festival. In particular, this year’s allocation for overseas travel agencies sold out much faster than last year, and inquiries from inbound travel agencies from Taiwan and other regions are increasing significantly.

With the temporary approval of visa-free entry for Chinese group tourists starting in September, the festival is expected to attract a larger number of foreign visitors by tapping into new potential customers from China.

Starting this year, Busan Metropolitan City is introducing Dongbaekjeon payment for Busan Fireworks Festival tickets purchased through “Yes24 Ticket.” To promote the use of Dongbaekjeon, the city will run a promotional event offering 11% policy support funds on the payment amount, though the basic cashback will not be provided. The policy support funds apply only to up to two tickets per ID and will be distributed retroactively on November 15, with a usage deadline of December 31, 2025.

All proceeds from ticket sales will be reinvested into enhancing the festival, including expanding the fireworks production, improving facilities for visitor convenience and safety, and creating jobs through new hiring of security and guide staff.
