Busan Women’s Center Recruiting Students for the 4th Term Education Program in 2025

Busan Metropolitan City Women’s Center announced that it will begin recruiting students for the “4th Term Education Program of 2025” starting September 3.

This education program, designed to support citizens’ participation in economic activities such as employment and entrepreneurship, as well as the development of skills for working individuals, will be conducted for about three months from September 29 to December 31.

The program will recruit around 1,600 students across 85 courses in 9 fields, including crafts, beauty, cooking, coffee, baking, sewing, foreign languages, computers, and senior teaching materials. Course schedules may be adjusted according to circumstances in each subject.

In particular, certification courses and functional lifestyle and cultural classes will be offered, along with evening and weekend classes designed for working individuals.

Certification courses include cooking technician (Korean/Chinese cuisine), beautician (makeup/nail/general), Information Technology Qualification Test (ITQ Excel, ITQ PowerPoint), basic TOEIC, and floral decoration technician.

Evening courses include coffee barista Level 2 and foreign languages (English, Japanese, Chinese). Weekend courses include family home baking, clothing making, and handwriting (calligraphy).

Any citizen aged 18 or older interested in these courses may enroll. Registration will be carried out in three phases: priority, general, and additional. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through the Women’s Center website (woman.busan.go.kr).

[Priority Registration] For socially disadvantaged groups such as recipients of basic livelihood security and households with two or more children. Registration runs from 9:00 a.m. on September 3 to 6:00 p.m. on September 5.

[General Registration] The first round runs from 9:00 a.m. on September 10 to 6:00 p.m. on September 16. Those who have consecutively enrolled in the same course for the past four terms will be restricted from registering for that course this term. The second round runs from 9:00 a.m. on September 17 to 6:00 p.m. on September 26. If, by 6:00 p.m. on September 26, the number of registrants is less than 60 percent of the course capacity, the course will be canceled.

[Additional Registration] Runs from 9:00 a.m. on September 29 to 6:00 p.m. on October 19, after the program begins.
