A Special Invitation on an Autumn Night… Jeonggwan Museum to Host the “Autumn Starry Night Concert”

Jeonggwan Museum (hereinafter referred to as “the Museum”), celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, announced that it will hold a special cultural event, the “Autumn Starry Night Concert,” on September 12 and 13 at the Outdoor Exhibition Park of the Museum.

This event is designed to coincide with the Museum’s nighttime opening, allowing visitors to enjoy music and stories amidst the atmosphere of an autumn evening. It will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on both days.

Date: September 12 (Fri) – September 13 (Sat), 2025, 18:30–20:30

Venue: Outdoor Exhibition Park of Jeonggwan Museum

Performers: DJ Choi In-rak, New Age pianist Gong Seong-hwan

Reservation: From September 2, 10:00 – free registration for 100 participants per day / Available via Busan Metropolitan City Integrated Reservation System

The concert will feature radio personality DJ Choi In-rak (former host of Busan MBC’s “Starry Night”) and New Age pianist Gong Seong-hwan, a graduate of Berklee College of Music in the United States who has worked as a music director for numerous theater and drama productions. The performers will present a warm and rich stage with emotional musical performances, commentary, and the sharing of audience-submitted stories.

The concert will also include a “Story and Music Request Program,” allowing audience members to participate directly. Selected stories will be introduced on-site with accompanying music, and special event submissions will be rewarded with small commemorative gifts.

Applications for stories, music, and event participation are open until September 9, with detailed instructions available on the Jeonggwan Museum website (museum.busan.go.kr/jeonggwan).

Applications for attendance open on September 2 at 10:00 through the Jeonggwan Museum website (museum.busan.go.kr/jeonggwan) or the Busan Metropolitan City Integrated Reservation System (reserve.busan.go.kr).

The concert will be free of charge for up to 200 participants each day. Of these, 100 seats will be prioritized for online advance registrants. Walk-in participants can be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis for the remaining seats (up to 100), depending on availability on the day of the event.
