Busan Metropolitan City to Host the “2025 International Environment & Energy Industry Exhibition”… Supporting Expansion of Domestic and Global Market Channels!

Busan Metropolitan City (Mayor Park Heong-joon) announced that it will host the “2025 International Environment & Energy Industry Exhibition (ENTECH 2025),” Korea’s representative green business event, from August 27 to 29 for three days at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 2.

This event is co-hosted by the City and International Newspaper, and organized by BEXCO, Today Energy, and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA). It will also be featured as the “Environment & Energy Pavilion” of the “2025 World Climate Industry Expo,” Korea’s leading international event in the climate and energy sector.

Now in its 19th year, the event will consist of an integrated opening ceremony, exhibition, business consultation sessions (export and domestic), business programs, and side events.

[Integrated Opening Ceremony]

The ceremony will take place on August 27 at 12:00 p.m. in the BEXCO Convention Hall.

Participants: Approximately 1,000 people, including the Mayor, vice ministers from government ministries, Fatih Birol (Executive Director of the International Energy Agency), Manuela Ferro (Vice President of the World Bank), among others

Main Program: Opening remarks, welcome address, keynote speeches

[Exhibition]

The exhibition will feature 157 companies across 430 booths, organized into the Environment Industry Pavilion, Green Energy Pavilion, and Power & Generation Pavilion. A total of 140 domestic companies and 17 companies from six countries (Taiwan, Japan, Vietnam, Indonesia, South Africa, Denmark) will participate.

[Export Consultation Sessions]

Global buyers and overseas institutions will be invited as buyers. The KOTRA Export Consultation Session will be held in conjunction with the World Climate Industry Expo, and the ENTECH Asia Export Consultation Session will also take place.

The KOTRA Export Consultation Session, Korea’s largest environment and energy consultation event, will attract buyers from Europe, Asia, Africa, and around the world.

The ENTECH Asia Export Consultation Session will invite buyers mainly from Asian countries, including Vietnam, Indonesia, and China.

[Domestic Consultation Sessions]

Procurement and purchasing officers from local governments and public institutions will be invited to participate in domestic consultation sessions held in connection with the World Climate Industry Expo, supporting companies in entering the public procurement market and developing domestic sales channels.

The Public Procurement Consultation Session will be organized by the Korea Small & Medium Business Distribution Center, targeting procurement and purchasing officers from local governments and public institutions.

[Business Programs]

The programs will include professional seminars, product presentations by participating companies, and networking receptions, designed to enhance understanding of environmental policy trends and new technologies while providing networking opportunities between companies and buyers.

Professional Seminars will feature events such as the Carbon Neutral Energy Transition Forum (hosted by International Newspaper), Carbon Resource Technology Briefing (Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology), Korea Heat Pump Alliance Seminar, Eco-label Certification Briefing (Ministry of Environment, Busan Green Purchasing Support Center), and Busan Metropolitan City’s Seminar on Developing Technologies and Policies to Eliminate Plastics. These will provide insights into cutting-edge technologies and policies, and foster networking and technical cooperation among institutions and businesses.

Product Presentations will showcase new products and technologies from 20 participating companies, serving as a platform for discovering new business opportunities and fostering cooperation.

[Side Events]

Side events will include a docent-led tour of major participating companies’ exhibits, a green product exhibition and experience program, an upcycling (recycling and reuse) product fair, and a green flea market where visitors can explore and purchase eco-friendly products and food.
