Busan City Announces Additional Recruitment for Q3 Newlywed Housing Loan and Interest Support Program

Busan Metropolitan City (Mayor Park Heong-joon) announced that it will conduct additional recruitment for the 2025 Q3 Newlywed Housing Loan and Interest Support Program from August 4 to August 13.

○ The city plans to recruit an additional 300 households that have not applied during the initial Q1–Q3 recruitment periods.

Newlyweds without home ownership who currently reside in Busan and meet the following criteria are eligible to apply:

○ Eligibility Requirements

• ●[Residency] Couples registered in Busan as of August 4, 2025

• ●[Marital Status] Couples married within the past 7 years or engaged couples planning to marry within 3 months

• ●[Income] Combined annual income of KRW 130 million or less

• ●[Housing] Rental deposit under KRW 400 million (including apartments and residential officetels)

The city aims to support a total of 1,500 households in 2025, and if the number of applicants exceeds the available 300 slots, recipients will be selected by random lottery.

Applicants must submit their applications via the BNK Busan Bank mobile banking app from 9:00 AM on August 4 until 4:00 PM on August 13.

The list of selected participants will be announced on August 18 via the Busan City website (www.busan.go.kr/childcare/childcare010106).

○ Approved participants may apply for loans between September 1 and September 30.
