A Glowing and Delicious Night in Busan… Korea BamBam Festa to Be Held

Busan Mayor Park Heong-joon and Busan Tourism Organization President Lee Jung-sil announced that Busan will hold its leg of the 2025 “Korea BamBam Festa” on August 2 from 6 PM to midnight at Gunam-ro, the event square, and Haeundae Beach.

This nationwide relay-style nighttime tourism festival is part of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's Night Tourism Revitalization Project. The 10 designated night-tourism cities—Incheon, Gongju, Gangneung, Tongyeong, Busan, Jeonju, Daejeon, Yeosu, Jinju, and Seongju—are participating in turn. The event began in Incheon on June 28, followed by Gongju, Gangneung, and Tongyeong, and now arrives in Busan.

Held during the peak of summer vacation season in the popular tourist destination of Haeundae, the Busan edition of BamBam Festa will span three zones: Gunam-ro, the beach, and the event square, offering diverse nighttime content.

Main Programs:

◯ BamBam Night Food Zone (Gunam-ro, 18:00–24:00)

A dining zone where visitors can enjoy take-out dishes from local traditional markets. Around 80 seats will be provided.

Ten booths will showcase dessert specialties from each of the participating cities.

Visitors who purchase over KRW 10,000 at Haeundae traditional markets or nearby shops can buy local craft beer for KRW 1,000 on a first-come, first-served basis.

The city will also host a free tasting event (480 cups total) for the official souvenir product of its night tourism brand Byeolbada Busan—a specialty capsule coffee developed in collaboration with three popular local roasteries.

◯ Rose Night Yoga (Haeundae Beach, 20:00–21:00)
A nighttime healing program where participants practice yoga surrounded by LED roses on the beach. Advance reservations or on-site registration on a first-come, first-served basis are available.

◯ Candlelight Concert by FEVER (Haeundae Event Square, 21:30–22:00)

A joyful musical event featuring original soundtracks and Disney hits, set against thousands of LED candles.

The concert is free and open to the public (no designated seating).

The candle-lit stage will remain open as a nighttime photo zone until 11:00 PM.

◯ Candle Art Zone (LED)

10,000 LED candles symbolizing the unity of the 10 cities, each contributing 1,000 candles, will illuminate the beach.
