Busan Metropolitan City to Host ‘Dongbaekjeon Usage Promotion Event’ Featuring Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupons

Busan Metropolitan City (Mayor Park Heong-joon) announced that it will hold a promotional event (hereinafter “the event”) to revitalize the local economy and boost local consumption. The event will be open to general citizens who use the Busan local currency Dongbaekjeon to receive and use livelihood recovery consumption coupons, as well as to newly registered Dongbaekjeon-affiliated merchants.

The event will offer policy support funds (KRW 20,000–50,000) through a drawing for both citizens who make payments with consumption coupons via Dongbaekjeon and for business owners who newly register their business as a Dongbaekjeon-affiliated merchant during the event period.

For Dongbaekjeon users (general citizens), those who make a combined total payment of KRW 180,000 or more using consumption coupons via Dongbaekjeon from July 21 to August 31 will be automatically entered into the drawing.

• ●▲ Second prize: 100 winners, KRW 30,000 each

• ●▲ Third prize: 5,000 winners, KRW 20,000 each
  Consumption coupons can be used at affiliated stores, which can be checked via the “Find a Merchant” menu at the top of the Dongbaekjeon app.

For Dongbaekjeon-affiliated merchants (business owners), those who newly register as a Dongbaekjeon merchant during the event period from July 21 to August 31 will be automatically entered into the drawing.

  Merchant registration can be completed through the “Merchant Registration” menu on the Dongbaekjeon website (busandong100.kr) or via the banner in the Dongbaekjeon app.
